THANK YOU, H.E. MINISTER RETNO L.P. MARSUDI
Wassenaar, 11 January 2015 — Together with the Indonesian community and friends of Indonesia in The Netherlands, SIN Wassenaar solemnly bid farewell to H.E. Minister Retno L.P. Marsudi who has just accomplished her assignment as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of The Netherlands, during the farewell gala in Rijswijk, 11 January 2015. She is Indonesia’s current Minister of Foreign Affairs after being appointed several months earlier by President Joko Widodo and became the first female to head the Ministry in Indonesian history. Led by our Principal, Mr. Budi Wahyu Rianto, our students dedicated acoustic and angklung performance at the gala as a parting token and gratitude. Our teachers also followed the event keenly from the galleries.
For SIN Wassenaar, H.E. Minister Retno L.P. Marsudi has been very attentive, helpful, and her motivating presence remains in our heart. We are very grateful for receiving her endless full support. We wish H.E. Minister all the best.

CONTEXTUAL LEARNING PS 2014 AT NEMO MUSEUM AMSTERDAM
Amsterdam — To reinforce students’ understanding especially on natural science and exact subjects, SIN Wassenaar organised a contextual learning programme for Primary School kids to NEMO Museum, on Thursday, 20 November 2014. The kids were accompanied by three teachers: Mrs. Dessy, Mrs. Rida and Mrs. Meily.
Using train the trip started from The Hague Central Station to Amsterdam Central Station. From there they walked to the museum.
In the museum the kids watched, tried, played and concluded a lot of natural phenomena using special tools designed for the purpose. It was a hilarious moment at the same time of learning by doing at the cutting-edge contextual learning centre in Amsterdam.
