Dapodik SIDH

Wassenaar — As manifestation of his brilliant recommendation for SIDH to nurture a tulip garden, H.E. Ambassador I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja symbolically planted the tulip bulbs in the front and backyard of our school vicinity, Tuesday morning, 8 November 2016. Prof. Bambang Hari Wibisono, the Attaché of Education and Culture, and Mr Udik Ripul, our Principal accompanied H.E. Ambassador during the event. Also present in the ceremony were our teachers and students.

According to the coordinator of this programme, Ms Nurna, this agenda aimed at to stimulate our students to actively participate in planting and nurturing the plants as part of their learning, to embellish and give colours to our school environs, as well as – when the flowers blossom next Spring – to welcome the anniversary of our National Education Day, 2 May 2017. On the same occasion Mr Ripul dubbed this event as “SIDH’s Tulip Splendour 2016”.

The lion’s share of the programme was sponsored by the Indonesian Embassy, The Hague.

Wassenaar — It was a privilege for SIDH to receive the visit of the City Mayor of Bandung, Mr Ridwan Kamil, Friday afternoon, 21 October 2016. The mayor and his entourage were welcomed, on behalf of SIDH, by Mr Ripul, Mr Yadi, Mr Deni, Mr Mul and our students.

During the short call – which was accompanied by our Embassy staff – Mr Kamil also performed Jumu’ah Prayer in our mushalla/masjid.

As Mr Kamil is a popular public figure in Indonesia and got many fans in our school as well, he rendered moments of photo sessions with our school community.

Wassenaar — SIDH welcomed the visiting assessors from National Accreditation Board for Schools and Madrasahs (BAN S-M), 13 October 2016. The team consisted of three national assessors: Mr Syamsir Alam, Mrs Tita Lestari and Mr Jafriansen Damanik. They conducted visitation programme at SIDH from 13 through 17 October 2016.

Through a courtesy call few hours their arrival — accompanied by Mr Ripul and Mr Yadi — the team was also warmly welcomed by H.E. Ambassador Puja in his office and our Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr Ibnu Wahyutomo.

On the first day, after the courtesy call at the Indonesian Embassy The Hague, the assessors directly conducted their assignment by visiting SIDH campus particularly assessing the facilities and education infrastructures. The assessment went on Friday, Saturday and sealed on Monday with conclusion and recommendation for future improvement.

We express our highest appreciation to Mrs Safreni (SIDH’s 2016 Re-accreditation Team Leader) and all of our teachers who worked as a team that had fully dedicated their responsibility and valuable contribution during the visitation programme. Our gratitude was also to our students, school community and stakeholders for their support.

Wassenaar — Indonesian Embassy organised Pasar Raya Indonesia event in our premises for three consecutive days, 2-4 September 2016. In the previous years such event was held only for one day. This year our students performed a contemporary dance accompanied by certain music. They were trained by Ms. Nathalie. Beyond that SIDH was also provided with one booth of school promotion for the interested visitors. Another activity was held for kids: from drawing, colouring up to chess competition.
