Dapodik SIDH

As part of our annual programme, this year SIDH organised a study trip to Switzerland, 1-3 November 2019. It was co-organised by SIDH and SIDH Committee. Students of primary and secondary schools as well as accompanying teachers and principal ad interim, Mr. Din Wahid, Committee executives, some parents took part in the journey. It was designed to give opportunity to our school community to relax and learn new environment and places.

According to to the tour leader, Ms Nurna, the participants spent two nights in Germany between the visit to Zurich and Lucerne. Based on the response from our students after the trip, we concluded that it was an unforgettable journey of learning.

Wassenaar — Cooperating with the Embassy of India and the India Foundation, SIDH hosted specific outreach session on 1^th October 2019. The programme was opened officially by Mr Din Wahid, PhD., our principal ad interim.

The keynote speaker was Dr Kanta Rani from the Embassy of India. Dr Rani was accompanied by Mr Dave Gurnani from the India Foundation. The event was part of commemorating the 150^th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. All students and teachers joined the interactive session.

Wassenaar — All 20 members of the Indonesian Embassy colour guards 2019 were SIDH students. They took part in the prime moment during the celebration of the 74^th anniversary of Indonesian independence in the Netherlands, 17^th August 2019. This year, the corps leader was Roes Lirizky Lufti, while Jasmijn S.H. Yadi as the flag bearer, and Berekhya Kiri Grace Syandana, Almira Levia Dewanti Kurniawan, and Namira Bakhitah Yunisa as the flag raisers. Other students and the teachers became members the choir groups, and performers after the ceremony.

Wassenaar – On the occasion of the 58^th anniversary of the Indonesian Scout Movement, SIDH organises a solemn observance on Wednesday, 14 August 2019. The ceremony was directly led by Ambassador I Gusti Wesaka Puja.

The ceremony was attended by our Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr Fikri Cassidy, our students, teachers and School Committee.

In his address, Ambassador Puja emphasised the urgency for SIDH students to maintain and improve their spirit of nationalism and patriotism as part of global community.
