Wassenaar – It was an honour for SIDH to welcome eight delegates from the Mother Tongue Languages Branch of Singapore’s Ministry of Education on Wednesday morning, 23 January 2019. Headed by Assistant Professor M. Faishal Ibrahim, Senior Parliamentary Secretary Ministry of Social and Family Development and Ministry of Education, the delegation wished to learn best practices on the curriculum and teaching of Bahasa Indonesia and the nurture of Indonesianness at SIDH. It is related to the development programme of Malay language education in Singapore.
Besides a sharing forum in the Teachers’ Room, the delegates also observed how the Indonesian language was taught and discussed in the classrooms.
Also present were Education and Cultural Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy, Din Wahid, Ph.D., SIDH Principal, Mr Udik Ripul, Vice Principal, Mr Gunar Yadi, SIDH teachers: Ms Nia Siti Sunariah, Dr. Safreni Candra Sari, Ms Nurna Jansen, Ms Djena, and Ms Dessy Nataliani.
