Wassenaar, July 24, 2017 — SIDH commenced the first semester of the 2017/2018 school year on Monday, July 24, 2017. The first day was started with the Flag Ceremony and welcoming address from SIDH Principal, Mr Udik Ripul.
Wassenaar — SIDH welcomed the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, H.E. Asman Abnur at its campus on Thursday, June 22, 2017. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr Ripul, teachers and student representatives. During the visit H.E. Ambassador Puja, Attaché of Education and Culture, Prof. Bambang Hari Wibisono, Mr June Kuncoro Hadiningrat accompanied the ministry delegates. Among the minister’s entourage was the Deputy for Public Service, Prof. Diah Natalisa and Deputy Assistant, Dr. M. Imanuddin.
Minister Abnur and delegation were attending the United Nations Public Service Forum 2017 held in the World Forum, The Hague, 22-23 June 2017.
At SIDH, Minister Abnur conveyed his ideas on his ministerial meritocracy agenda to improve and reform the state’s bureaucracy and the bureaucrats. He also observed the learning facilities at SIDH.
Wassenaar — SIDH facilitated a Ramadhan spiritual retreat for Muslim students from 29 through 31 May 2017. It happened to be during the first week of the Fasting Month to fill the remaining days after the semester examination and summer holiday. It was coordinated by our new teacher, Bu Ponco, and all Muslim students took part in this event. It was formally launched by SIDH Principal, Mr Ripul on Monday morning. Among the mentors were Dr Mizar Ahmad, Mr Hamdi and supported by other teachers.
The Hague — To meet the invitation by Ms Justine Pelmelay, the MC of the Tong-tong Fair’s opening in the Thursday evening, 25 May 2017, SIDH relegated 5 students: Ananda, Jacelynn, Berekhya, Patia and Casysta. They came to the stage to join 15 other multicultural children to tone up the opening ceremony. Their performance along with Ms Pelmelay highlighted the plural character of the fair.
Rotterdam – SIDH assigned two dancers to entertain the audience of the Sek.Art.Aji 2017, 13 May 2017. They were Catlya dan Ananda who performed the ‘Tari Manukrawa’. The Sek.Art.Aji was the climax of the ‘One Indonesia 2017’, an event organised by the Indonesian Students Association of Rotterdam Chapter. SIDH’s dancing was one of the performances showcased that evening at the Erasmus Pavilijoen Rotterdam.
