FAREWELL TRIBUTE TO BU AR, AND WELCOME TO PAK BUDI

Wassenaar Campus — SIN Wassenaar organised a farewell tribute to Ms. Arbayah Kumalawati at our campus on 25 January 2013. Taking her assignment at our school succeeding Mr. Saidan almost exactly 3 years ago, she has completed it end January 2013 and has left us with many achievements. They are widening parts of SIN Wassenaar’s progresses that had been attained during the previous leaderships. In her farewell address Ms. Kumalawati urged SIN Wassenaar to improve further and never stop growing. She also apologised for the programmes that still in pending and for any possible shortcoming from her side. A week after that H.E. Ambassador convened a farewell dinner for Ms. Kumalawati at the Palembang Restaurant in The Hague that was also attended by our Embassy home-staff and teachers. We felt honoured and really indebted to H.E. Ambassador for her kindness.

Ms. Kumalawati and family left The Netherlands on 3 February 2013. Thanks and bon voyage, Bu Ar, and we wish you all the best!

On Monday, 18 February 2013, SIN Wassenaar welcomed the new Director, Mr. Budi Wahyu Rianto, who had arrived in The Netherlands two days earlier. Previously Mr. Rianto was the Director of SMPN 4 Probolinggo, East Java. In his introductory speech Mr. Rianto encouraged the school community to refine the achievements and develop further. After the introduction, Mr. Rianto launched the first round of National Exam Try-out. We express our heartfelt welcome to Pak Budi to lead SIN Wassenaar to its deserved destiny of progress!
