GENERAL REPETITION AND INAUGURATION OF COLOUR GUARD 2012

Ambassadorial Residence, Wassenaar, 16 August 2012 — The Indonesian Embassy organised a general repetition for the hoisting flag ceremony to commemorate the 67th independence anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in The Netherlands, 16 August 2012. SIN Wassenaar substantial participation for this year’s anniversary was the contribution of the colour guard members and the chorus group. The two round repetition was directly attended and supervised by H.E. Ambassador Retno L.P. Marsudi, all home staff, local staff, our students, teachers and representatives of Indonesian communities in The Netherlands.

In the afternoon the colour guard was also solemnly inaugurated by H.E. Ambassador at the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague, so that they would carry out their duty well as expected the next day. To all our students being selected as a member of the colour guard was a very unique experience.
