HERDARUDEWI’S HOMECOMING AND SHARING AT SIDH

Wassenaar — SIDH welcomed the visit one of its alumni, Herdarudewi Prabandari on Thursday, 5 January 2017. Herdarudewi who was usually nicknamed as Dida, graduated from our Senior High School (SMA) in Summer 2016. Through a ‘bumpy and hard struggle’ she managed to pass the killing-entrance test into the Department of Architecture and Planning Technology at the University of Gadjah Mada. She now enjoyed her first year’s term as a university student.

During her 1st semester break she spent in The Netherlands that SIDH organised the event in which Dida could share her first-hand experience to her juniors. Dida told her story starting from the first time she came to The Netherlands through her ‘fight’ to realise her dreams. A Q&A session was also included in the programme. What Dida shared and the motivation she had were really useful for our students.
