Interview:
1. How long have you been here in the Netherlands?
I have been here since 4th August 2002.
2. Where have you been assigned as a diplomat?
I’ve been assigned in New York twice, Islamabad, Saudi Arabia, and Holland is the fifth.
3. So what do you think about the Netherlands?
I think that the Netherlands is a nice place. But the first thing I like is their attitude. Dutch are well plan, diligent, and frugal too. This is the positive side, which we have to take from the Dutch not the negative side, as we all know that the Nederland is a very free country.
4. What are your assignments as an Ambassador here in the Netherlands?
Well, first of all my first duty is to represent the republic of Indonesia, to give
protection to the citizen, to report our work to Jakarta and to do that has been told from the government.
5. How about your mission of being an Ambassador?
My mission of being an Ambassador is to protect the citizen so separation does not happen and to escalate the exports for non -migas even migas.
6. Was being an Ambassador was what you wanted to be when you were young?
No, I wanted to be a doctor or a Mariner because being a doctor on a ship can only cure the people on the ship and I can also enjoy the beauty of the sea and to use my spare time to read.
7. Do you have any of your special experience that you can share with SIN’s student?
My special experience was when it was the time of my education, it was all-free and I was the smartest. This experience’s deserve to be followed by SIN’s student.
8. What do you think about SIN?
The students, teachers, school ambient, and school facility are the things that are more
related with the proses of SIN. But as we all know, every school has it’s positive and
it’s negative side. The negative side of SIN is it’s school facility, curricuculum, and the
number of its pupil. For the students who studies at SIN or the International and
Local school, to tell the truth there are no big difference, only the society and the
curricuculum.
9. Can you tell us about your opinion of a good student that can be rewarding for SIN’s
student?
A good student is a student that can control his/herself, knows the direction, has a goal,
and works hard to reach his/her goal.
10. Do you have any advise for SIN’S student, especially for the third grade that are going
to have their UAN and UAS?
Just find your necessity and always try to reach it, Ora et labora: Pray and Try, believe that you will always win, “Kogito Ergoso
