LECTURE ON “SOLAR SYSTEM” BY ESA AT THE FRENCH SCHOOL – THE HAGUE
French School Campus, The Hague — To follow-up the Collaboration Agreement between SIN Wassenaar and the French School in The Hague, our delegates participated in the Science Collaborative Project, Tuesday, 12 April 2011, at the French School campus. The project’s theme this year is the “Solar System”.
Eight of our students from the Science classes took part in the collaboration along with the director, Ms. Arbayah Kumalawati, Science and Geography teachers: Ms. Emma dan Ms. Halimah. The students were David Julian Tambayong, Monica Damayanti, Annisa Rahmayanti, Lionel Dresta Tambayong, Pradhana Sadhu Imfianto, Raisa Alia Nurwana Putri, Annisa Zoontjes, and Abdurrahman Helm.
The main agenda of the programme was a lecture from a European Space Agency (ESA) scientist/official. Spaced with a break, the lecture was succeeded with a discussion which was followed enthusiastically by the participants. At the end of the programme, our students and teachers expressed that that it was very wonderful and beneficial.
