My Life in Prague

It was very cold when I came for the first time in Prague. It was in February. I came to Prague with my father, my mother, my little brother and our maid. My parents said that Prague was very beautiful but it was not so beautiful in the winter season. The weather was very different from that of in Jakarta. When we came out from the airplane my father’s friends from our KBRI ushered us to a room. We waited there for our suitcases. Then they drove us to our hotel.
The hotel was not too big but there was enough room for all of us. The next day, Mr. Eri, an embassy’s staff, brought us to a hypermarket to shop. The name of the hypermarket was Carefour. We stayed in the hotel for two weeks. Then we moved to a house.
The house is very close to the KBRI. It’s only takes three minute from our house to the KBRI, and we can see the KBRI from our house. There is also a mini market nearby. But when we shopped there, it was difficult because we couldn’t understand each other as we used English, they used Czech language.
In the afternoon around five or six o’clock, my brother and I often went to the KBRI to fetch our father home. Every Friday, my father and some of my father’s friends and I went to Cerny Mosque for Sholat Jumat. Every Saturday we went to the Vietnamese shop with Mr. Eri. Every Sunday we went to Carefour in Centrum. Sometimes in the weekend we went to places we had not seen, like going to see Jam Bego. The real name of the clock is not Jam Bego but the people from KBRI called it like that because people waited for an our to see some thing comes out from the clock, but it was only some small dolls. Another place that we visited was a mall called Gallery Butovice in Nove Butovice. There was a huge aquarium inside the mall. There were many kinds of fish. My brother liked it there because he loved observing the fish. Sometimes there was a diver who fed the fishes. Inside the mall there’s also a hypermarket called Hipernova.
Two months later I moved to the Indonesian Embassy School in the Netherlands. But I will spend this summer holiday in Prague.
