My Long Holiday

In the last two weeks I had five days holiday. It was a long time for me because it took place from Thursday to Monday. On Thursday until Friday I just stayed at home because my father and my brother had some activities. On Saturday, 15 April 2006, my family and I went to Eindhoven. We went there by car. It took two hour driving to go there from Vlissingen.

First, we went to centrum (city square) in Eindhoven. My brother and I bought some clothes there. We were so tired at the time but we were still happy. After walking around in the centrum we went to the Eindhoven Stadium. It wasn’t too far from the centrum. So, we just walked to go there. The stadium was big, and also firm. We wished to enter the stadium, but we couldn’t because the stadium was closed. We just walked around the stadium. Suddenly, we saw the PSV Eindhoven shop. While my brother bought some football clothes, we also bought some clothes and accessories in there.
We took some pictures in the front of the stadium’s gate. My brother was so happy at the time, because he likes football so much. After that, we were back to the car and we returned home.

In the journey toward Vlissingen, my father drove us to visit somewhere near there. It was near the beach. I saw some boats resting on a small harbour. The panorama was so beautiful. And after that, my father asked to have lunch in one of the restaurants near the beach. We had mosselen for our lunch. Mosselen are like green shells and so delicious.
And at five o’ clock we drove home. It was so tiring. But we were so happy. O, yeah, it was a beautiful holiday.
