OUR MOST HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF MR. TAZWIN HANIF

Wassenaar —  We are deeply saddened that Mr. Tazwin Hanif, a senior Indonesian diplomat, peacefully passed away in Rome, Friday afternoon, 25 December 2015. He is the father of Fariz, our Year 12 student. This sad news was also covered by the Jakarta Post.

Mr. Hanif has been one of our good and close friends since his posting at our Embassy in The Hague until early 2000s. The feeling of losing him is virtually unbearable.

For him we solemnly offer our supplication as exampled by the Prophet (PBUH): “O Lord, forgive him, raise his rank amongst those who are rightly guided, and You be the Caretaker of his descendants after him.  Forgive him and us, O Sustainer of the Universe, make his grave spacious for him and grant him light in it.”
