SIDH WELCOMES SMAN 1 BOGOR
Wassenaar — SIDH kindly welcomed the delegation of SMAN 1 Bogor in its campus on Wednesday morning, 1 March 2017. The 25-strong entourage from Bogor was co-led by Delima Hasri Darmawan, Ph.D. (School Committee Chairperson) and Sri Eningsih Meidiarto, M.Pd. (Principal of SMAN 1 Bogor). It represented the students, alumni, parents and tour guide. The theme of their trip was ‘SMAN 1 Bogor Goes to Europe 2017’.
At our school the delegation was received with Welcoming Dance. Representing SIDH, our Principal, Mr Ripul in his welcoming speech extended the gratitude to the SMAN 1 delegates for visiting our school. He also touched on SIDH achievements so far. On their turns, Delima, Ph.D. and Dra. Eningsih expressed their appreciation to SIDH for the auspicious opportunity. They both hoped the good relations would sustain and offered the invitation for a return visit for SIDH to Bogor.
The activity was interspaced with dance performance by our Primary School students and presentation of SIDH and SMAN 1 Bogor’s profiles by the students. A kacapi performance by a Bogor student and group singing of some hits usual to friendship visits were also held. The visit was closed with photo sessions.
We would like to thank Bu Nurna, Bu Nathalie, Bu Djena, Bu Emma, all teachers, Mr Mul, Bu Vanana, Nadia and Lovina for preparing our students and the event on our behalf.
Courtesy call to H.E. Ambassador
Early afternoon, from SIDH the delegation was ushered by Mr Ripul and Mr Yadi to the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague. At the embassy they were welcomed by H.E. Ambassador I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja and our Attaché of Education and Culture, Prof. Bambang Hari Wibisono, Ph.D.
During the courtesy call Mr Puja – in his unique manner of interpersonal savvy – shared his professional path as a career diplomat to the delegates. He also shared encouragement especially to the young students. It was a very exceptional learning opportunity for them.
