SIN WASSENAAR’S DISTINCTIVE CONTRIBUTION TO ICID 2013

Wassenaar — Student and teacher representatives of SIN Wassenaar contributed distinctively to the successful International Conference on Indonesian Development (ICID) organised by the Indonesian Students Association (PPI) of The Netherlands, at the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, 13-14 September 2013. The involvement included fielding 6 students as part of the organising committee and a gamelan group consisted of 11 players. Our Director, Mr. Budi Wahyu Rianto was a main player during the preparation and performance itself.

SIN Wassenaar’s gamelan group showed their ability and skill at the closing ceremony of the 1st ICID and received wide compliments and appreciation from the audience.

We are confident the international experience our representatives obtained through this involvement would be very useful for their future and networking.
