SIN WASSENAAR ORGANISES STUDY-TRIP, 1 NOVEMBER 2012

Volendam and Amsterdam — SIN Wassenaar organised a study-trip to Volendam and the Artis Zoo Amsterdam, Thursday, 1 November 2012. All regular students and most of the teachers went along. With the HTM Specials bus, first the trip was headed to Volendam. It is a city, north of Amsterdam which is also famous among Indonesian tourists who visited The Netherlands. In Volendam we made our school photo, and observed the coastal area while enjoying the sea breeze, and a light autumn shower.

From Volendam, the journey was continued to the Artis, Amsterdam. Here the students were divided into groups and each was accompanied by designated teachers. Biology and Science classes were confronted at the zoo with contextual learning. Beyond that, this trip brought togetherness and a feeling of relaxation and refreshment especially to our students.
