SIN WASSENAAR RECEIVES UNOFFICIAL VISIT OF INDONESIAN MP

Wassenaar Campus — On Tuesday afternoon, 26 April 2011, SIN Wassenaar received unofficial visit of an Indonesian MP (Member of Parliament) of Commission I., Mr.  Syahfan B.S. Areas of responsibility mandated to this Commission cover the affairs of Defence, Foreign Affairs, and Information, where the availability and quality of education services to Indonesian children  in foreign countries and the related aspects also fall under the competence of this Commission. Mr. Syahfan emphasised that his visit was informal and unofficial, and ensuing a consultation with the most senior official in the MFA in Jakarta.

After inspecting the physical facilities, classes and learning media, a forum for was convened for the school’s director, teachers and the legislator talking and discussing on various issues ranged from school management, supervision, funding, trajectory of further development of SIN Wassenaar, etc. Mr. Syahfan took note as well the ongoing aspirations and improvement plans.
