SIN WASSENAAR WELCOMES ALUMNA VISIT: LARAS

Wassenaar — Monday, 10 June 2013 SIN Wassenaar warmly welcomed Anindita R.L. and her friends: Aga S.N., Diesta D.P., Etasia A., and Ragil P.D. They are currently students of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Airlangga, Surabaya. Laras spent her Junior High School period at the Indonesian School in The Netherlands as her father, an Indonesian naval officer, took part in the building of Indonesian Navy corvettes in Vlissingen. Returning to Indonesia, Laras continued her Senior High School education in Surabaya and afterward was admitted to study at Airlangga. Throughout the years after leaving The Netherland Laras has missed her memorable times at our school which she loves a lot.

The students called on at our campus after participating in the International Student Congress of (bio)Medical Science (ISCOMS) 2013 organised at University Medical Center of Groningen,  4-7 June 2013.

According to the University of Groningen ISCOMS is one of the world’s leading student conferences in the (bio)medical sciences. The team from Airlangga succeeded to take part in the oral presentation session on 6 June 2013 with the research titled ‘Daily Consumption of Pomegranate Juice as Antioxidant on Mandibular Bone Remodeling in Post-Menopausal Osteoporosis.’
