SIN WASSENAAR WELCOMES DELEGATION OF MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE

Wassenaar Campus — SIN Wassenaar welcomed a delagation of the P2TK Secondary School of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Jakarta, 10 December 2011. Led by Mr. Wastandar the delegation comprised his staff and 10 selected school headmasters from various parts of Indonesia.

Mr. Wastandar highly appreciated our teachers and Director for their dedication to improve the quality of education at SIN Wassenaar. He referred specifically to Ms. Djena, who was accompanying SIN Wassenaar’s Director, Ms. Arbayah during the visit as a good example of Indonesian. Although being born and grown up in The Netherlands she remains as a good Indonesian both in characters and personality. Mr. Wastandar has every confidence that the central government in Indonesia will fully support SIN Wassenaar to be a foreign school under the Dutch regulation and eventually as an Indonesian international school in The Netherlands. Another issue discussed was the distance education programme for primary school.

The delegation had also the opportunity to converse with the participants of the Indonesian language course at SIN Wassenaar.
