SIN WASSENAAR WELCOMES REPRESENTATIVES OF NATIONAL QUARTER OF INDONESIAN SCOUT MOVEMENT
Wassenaar — One day after the 69th anniversary celebration of Indonesia’s independence in The Netherlands, SIN Wassenaar received a visit of two high-ranking officials from the National Quarter of Indonesian Scout Movement (Kwartir Nasional Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia), Brother Brata Tryana Hardjosubroto and Brother Indo Reyano Samili. They were en route to Jakarta from attending the 40th World Scout Conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia, 11-15 August 2014.
On behalf on SIN Wassenaar, our Principal, Mr. Budi Wahyu Rianto, welcomed the delegates. Mr. Rianto highly appreciated this momentous beneficial visit as SIN Wassenaar is in the transitional process to comply with the Curriculum 2013 which prescribes that Pramuka a compulsory extracurricular activity at primary and secondary education.
In the distinctive opportunity, Bro Brata and Bro Indo brought up the issue around the revitalisation programme of Indonesian scout movement. A quiz was a part of the socialisation activity and enthusiastically joined by our students. They were also very excited looking forward to participate in certain international scouting jamborees.
